Bryce Edmister, a partner with Rounds Golf & Lounge, announced that the venue, located 6801 Parker Farm Drive in Mayfaire Community Center, is set to open in early January.

Edmister, a professional golfer, and partners John Spencer and Denis Ing describe Rounds as an upscale, indoor version of Topgolf, the golf entertainment chain that has locations nationwide.

Edmister said the 4,000-square-foot Rounds houses three Full Swing Golf Simulators, along with a larger VIP Full Swing Simulator that is roughly 18 feet wide. In addition to courses and more than 20 golf games, Rounds will offer zombie dodge ball, field goal kicking, home run derby, target shooting and bocce ball among its simulated offerings.

Rounds will feature a custom wine wall housing 500 bottles, as well as a custom designed bar. While the full bar will offer beer, wine and liquor, there will be a focus on bourbon, with 25 varieties served. Bourbon flights will be available, allowing customers to sample multiple offerings.

Rounds, located between Roko Italian Cuisine and fast food chain Five Guys at Mayfaire Community Center, will also offer a full menu from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, as well as a more limited late-night menu of small bites. The menu includes appetizers, artisan sandwiches, ciabatta bread pizzas and salads. There are also several bruschetta plates and cheese and charcuterie boards with a variety of options to choose from.

Memberships, which allow customers to make advance reservations for the simulators, are now available. See Rounds Golf & Lounge’s Facebook page for details on opening dates and a grand opening celebration.
